psittacosaurid

Etymology

From the taxonomic name for the family, itself derived from the name of the type genus Psittacosaurus, coined in 1923 by Henry Fairfield Osborn from Ancient Greek ψιττακός (psittakós, “parrot”) + Ancient Greek σαύρα (saúra, “lizard”), due to its parrot-like beak.
