Etymology
Borrowed from Hindi मंजीठ (mañjīṭh), an alternative form of मजीठ (majīṭh), in turn derived from Sauraseni Prakrit 𑀫𑀁𑀚𑀺𑀝𑁆𑀞𑀸 (maṃjiṭṭhā), ultimately derived from Sanskrit मञ्जिष्ठा f (mañjiṣṭhā).
